Once Upon a 5K
Korgeo was founded out of a love for running.
The business developed out of a need for a one-stop shop for race organizers. The Korgeo team believes that races have the power to bring like-minded people together to provide health benefits to almost anyone.
In 2016, the total number of U.S. running events reached over 30,000, and the 5K distance maintained its No. 1 position as the most popular race distance (Running USA). We would like this trend and its benefits to spread like wildfire to communities across the United States!
At its core, Korgeo is about encouraging people to put on races in their own communities and bringing awareness to the joy of running. Scott Cranfill, the author of Organize a 5K, founded Korgeo in Indianapolis.
